Hiking, Apple Picking and Last Day Adventures in the Berkshires

A much delayed post... Part III of the Berkshires...

On our last day of our mini vacation in the Berkshires, we stuck around the area for most of the day. We went apple picking and picked I think a half bushel - we were eating pie and crisp for so long after that! - and bought baby pumpkins and cider donuts. They were so good!

We also went hiking up to Laura's Tower. The hike itself was good, though it was an awkward fall day in between warm and chilly. Laura's Tower was quite tall, but of course necessary after all that hiking!

Halloween 2011 at Cat Haus

     Another much delayed post... Cat Haus Halloween! We had quite a fun party. Lots of people, music, and someone even scrounged up a projector!

Fall 2011 Adventures, Incidents, and Happenings I

I don't know where this semester went! But it's finally over and I made it through reviews! I'm terribly behind on posting, but wanted to post a few pictures of thoughts from recently that never quite came into being...

Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool Festival!

This was an amazing weekend that I unfortunately never wanted to put into words. But here are just a few of my pictures from our day at the Duchess County Sheep and Wool Festival!

Berkshires mini-Vacation!

Last weekend Jess and I went to visit our friend Leslie in the Berkshires! We went out because there was a sheep and wool festival in New York we wanted to go to. We went out on Friday so we could hang out, and since I'd never driven on the highway before. The highway got very rainy at times, but other than that it was fine.

We got there and took a walk around a lake, which was really pretty!
